Food Expeditor

Job Overview: The Food Expeditor will work on a team to expedite large volume of daily food orders, ensuring accuracy quality and timeliness. Assist with delivery driver issues, and logistics to provide the best possible customer service to our clients.
Requirements:
- Prior food service experience in a high-volume production kitchen.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast paced, high volume business environment.
- Ability to problem solve and use proper judgement.
- ServSafe Certification, Allergen Awareness Certification, excellent sanitation practices.
- Excellent organizational skills, attention to details and the ability to multi-task.
- Strong logistical experience.
- Adapt quickly to changes in standard procedures and work duties.
- Must have valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
- Must have excellent Sanitation practices.
- Person must be able to lift up to 50lbs.
- Person must be able work on their feet throughout the day.
Essential Job Functions:
- Possess thorough understanding of expediting process from early morning until closing.
- Act as a liaison/mentor between delivery drivers, sales team and kitchen.
- Verify and inspect food orders for quality correctness, temperature, and presentation.
- Pack out deliveries and load vehicles to ensure vehicles are loaded in a timely manner and deliveries are made on time, without any issues.
- Run reports as needed.
- Prepare set-ups with team.
- Working knowledge of procedural tasks such as breakfast set-ups, boxed lunches, and desserts.
- Monitor paper goods being packed daily.
- Ensure exceptional customer satisfaction through product quality and employee efficiency and productivity.

Multiple Positions Available:
Cold and Hot Side Prep Cooks Hours 6:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.
Sandwich Cook – 4:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.

- Organize all logistics for events including floor plans, and other services as requested by the client; ensure that all requirements are communicated to the operations team and completed to the client’s specifications.
- Provide innovative ideas for displays and set-up.

Qualifications:

- BA Desirable
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Excellent planning and organizational skills and keen attention to detail
- Knowledge of MS Excel, Word, Power point, Access, and Outlook

- Minimum one year experience bartending; previous experience in private/country clubs, hotel banquets or high-end restaurant a plus.
